Special guest Matt Hatch of Theoryland joins us to discuss one of his passions: The Wheel of Time. If you’ve not heard of the epic fantasy series, then hopefully this will wet your whistle just enough to learn a little more. I’m told, if you like Tolkien, then this is for you. If anything, you can at least get a glimpse into the mind of the man behind a successful website built the old fashioned way: lots of time and energy.
Fear not my geek-averse friends, there is still other subjects to be had! Indeed, we regale you with our journey to the cinema to see “Inception“, Christopher Nolan‘s latest screen gem. Spoiler-ish alert, but not quite. Once you see the film you realize that there’s no real spoilers, only excellent discussion to follow. Then maybe an additional trip to the cinema. And perhaps a bump…
Also new this week, we streamed live on Ustream and you can watch the podcast here! Yes, it took a little more effort, but you my good listener, are worth it, every inch of extra cable.
All that, and this is  your last chance to pick up a pair of Portland Timbers tickets, thanks to the fine folks at Mobile Marketing.

Mitch and Sean – I had a blast, thanks for bringing me on the show. I hope you didn’t lose any listeners during our fantasy geek discussion of the Wheel of Time. Also, I need to throw out a correction to my comments on Point of View characters for any Wheel of Time fan freaks that may listen to TheMitchCast – I was casually throwing out 200+ (a bit of hyperbole). In reality, the number is 100+ Point of View characters.
Matt, thanks again for taking the time and having patience with the whole “ustream” fiasco. As for corrections, no worries because I was WAY off on the page counts for the first 2 novels. Not so impressed anymore, eh? I too was going for hyperbole
